The electrical supply is 240 volts, 50 Hz. The connection for appliances is a flat 3-pin plug. Most city hotels provide 110 volts for shavers, but this cannot be confirmed for the accommodation at the conference venue. 240 volt appliances from most countries will still require an adapter to fit Australian electricity sockets.
