From Melbourne’s international airport (Tullamarine) to Mt Eliza there are several travel options (all about 2 hours, and taxi fares are rough estimates):

  1. the Frankston and Peninsula Airport Shuttle, with a direct stop (on request) at the Melbourne Business School. On-line time-table, fares and on-line bookings at http://www.fapas.com.au/
    • $35 one way, $58 return
    • airport departures at 6:15am, 9:30 am, 11:45 am, 2:55pm, and 3:55pm – status of 15/8/07
    • 105 min travel time
  2. by public transport.
    • First, take the Skybus (http://www.skybus.com.au) from the arrival hall to Southern Cross Station. You can buy a ticket at the bus stop; credit cards are accepted.
      • $15 one way, $24 return
      • 20 min travel time
      • every 15 minutes during daytime; lower frequencies during the night
    • Then take the train from Southern Cross Station to Frankston (http://www.metlinkmelbourne.com.au). This needs a Metcard ticket for zones 1 and 2. Ticket machines and counters are available at Southern Cross.
      • $5.30
      • 70 min travel time
      • every 15 minutes during daytime; less in the evening; none at night
    • From Frankston train station there is a bus going to Kunyung Road/Nepean Highway (13 minutes). This bus (781, direction Mt Martha) goes at 10:15, 11:15, 12:15, 1:15, 2:15, and your train ticket is valid on the bus as well.
    • At all other times, take a taxi from Frankston to Melbourne Business School, Kunyung Road, Mt Eliza. If there is no taxi at the taxi stand call 131008. ~$20.
  3. Taxi from the airport is not recommended, due to the fares (>$100).
  4. Rent a car. Driving instructions from the airport (including toll roads!):
